This Instrument Belongs To A Library That Is Currently Not Installed

If you put any other number in the SNPID property inside the xml, the Library will show, yes, BUT you will get a ¨This is part of a library that is not currently installed¨ message So, add the library with an older version of Kontakt (sometimes i dont know why, library dissapears, check in the Desktop for a.tmp file usually called sc3.tmp, rename it to NAMEOFYOURLIBRARY.xml). To install the library, left-click the X and select Install this feature to a local drive as indicated below. 'This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not.

One 'feature' of the problem is that each time you change a patch, an instrument, no matter how tiny a change, in Kontakt version xxx the damn program paints all over it with 'this was created with Verision XXX' and then the idiotic downgrade fails.After a bit more research, looks like some of the problems may be due to different Windows version. Same library, Symphonic Choirs, installed and paid version with valid serial number, same install location, same Kontakt version V5.8.1.043, same paths, same file. The info pane, though, is different depending on the Windows version.For a file created on Windows 8 and viewed in Windows 7, I get this:Windows 7 says: testsaveSC.nki Format: Instrument Total Sample Size: 1.59 MB Library:??? I'm a professional musician but have only been using Kontakt for about 18 months. It's been smooth sailing up until yesterday when I started to set up my new 2018 MacBook Pro. I didn't migrate data and decided to start fresh.

The new machine is going to be used primarily for audio production. Of course, I assumed that after I installed Native Access and Kontakt, plugged in my external SSD with all the Komplete Ultimate 11 instruments on it, and my iLok, I'd be up and running. Who wouldn't assume that? But I couldn't do it.Then I found this thread. Does anyone see the absurdity that the proposed solution for problems introduced by the 'updates' to Kontakt are to be solved be 'downgrading' to an older version of the software? This is Alice in Wonderland stuff. Why is this thread marked solved?Re-downloading libraries is about the worst solution that could be proposed.

The next worst is downgrading to an older version of Kontakt and then upgrading again. Why is there no way to point Kontakt or Native Access to my external SSDs? Do the software engineers not use the software or do they not understand the way people use it?

Downloading libraries is the most time-consuming and friction-filled part of getting up and running. I even tried adding the serial for an already registered library.

Native Access still asked where to install it. I can navigate (via the “Files” tab to some Soundiron libraries I have and load those, but when I do that with a Kontakt library, I get a message that says, “This instrument belong to a library that is not installed.”The method suggested by several of going to Manage Libraries Options Libraries and making sure libraries are checked so Kontakt would see them doesn't work because nothing is listed.

BTW, at the bottom of this dialog box there's a message that reads, 'Launch Native Access to add, activate or locate a purchased library.' There is not any option in Native Access to locate a purchased library, but it is not unreasonable for someone to assume that there would be one.This is my first forum post and I have to say that I'm appalled.I was looking forward to using the new computer with Kontakt on a working vacation I'm leaving for today. I am replying to my own post because after I installed the version of Kontakt that has the 'Add Library' tab, I proceeded with the task of adding my Kontakt Libraries. I figured all was well.

My iLok was plugged in and I figured all I needed to do was open Native Access to see if there were any updates, install the newest version of Kontakt, and I'd be up and running.It was not to be. All my libraries are now marked as 'Demo,' and when I opened Native Access, it quite quit within 30 seconds.

I'm running 10.15.6 on a 2018 MacBook Pro.Please don't tell me I have to re-enter all the serials for these libraries. Isn't the reason I have the iLok? I make fresh install of all Complete products, libraries and add 2 Kontakt libraries from Native Access. He say that they was installed successfully. Every time it cause problems. (And its even still don't have uninstall function!).

I am a registered user of the NI Ultimate 11 bundle for WIndows 10, which includes Kontakt v5. I purchased a Kontakt supported virtual instrument from Realitone.com called Fingerpick. I downloaded and un-compressed the Fingerpick instrument bundle onto my samples hard drive.

I then launched Kontakt v5 and used the 'Load.' Action to select the instrument's.nki file.

Kontakt this sample library is not initialized

Kontakt reported the following message:'This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed'I then launched Native Access and attempted to add the serial number that was provided with the Fingerpick instrument download. When I did this, I received the following message from Native Access:'Registration error: The serial has been registered already'I did not previously register this product, so this message is confusing. I tried the 'Load.' Action using Kontakt v6 as well, but the result was the same.At this point, I'm unable to use this new Fingerpick instrument with Kontakt.
